I bought this to keep up with swimming during the pandemic lockdown. What I wasn't prepared for was how much I would enjoy such a workout. My home has a swimming pool that is undersized for standard circles but is well maintained, semi enclosed and a small building that never gets crowded. . I figured that I could do my "laps" with the cable and not give up my workout because my regular gym would probably be closed for the foreseeable future. I love how easy this device is to set up, use and pack away. My only addition was to add steel pieces at the attachment point and connection point on the belt to make it easier to take off and take off. I'd also like to add that since the pool I use is small, I've found that splashing water makes it difficult to breathe normally in my lap, so I added a snorkel for swimming laps. It made a huge difference and I now believe I'm training better now than when I was swimming mile after mile in a much larger gym pool.
