These new scanners are value for money. I have a little brother of this scanner and it is very similar to the previous one but with some additional features: This device can draw diagrams and has a special voltage section that automatically shows the voltage of the car. The device has buttons that allow you to go directly to a specific diagnostic type. However, Volkswagen owners are very disappointed that this device does not show the temperature of the DSG fluid. This is necessary for proper fluid exchange. If they offer an update that adds this feature, the device will be perfect for DIY enthusiasts. Overall this scanner is a good buy if you are looking for one in the market or looking to upgrade an old one. 10/10 I would recommend. Pros: Comes with travel case, no battery, so you can always keep it in your car. The screen is quite large and easy to read, it can display multiple data inputs as a chart at the same time. Time Disadvantages: Buttons for some diagnostics are redundant It takes some time to get used to the orientation of the buttons More live data could be transmitted.
