Hook broke in half for my opinion
I bought this hardware 2 months ago to hang my hammock. Today my sister and I were sitting on the hammock. Between the 2 of us i’d estimate about 300 lbs of weight. It collapsed while we were sitting on the hammock (ouch!) and found the hook had broke in half. The hammock has only lightly been used before that. Disappointed in the quality.
- Works like a charm! It had more than enough pieces to work with my frame.
- The plastic coating on the chain can wear off with prolonged exposure to the elements, causing it to look unsightly
