Description of Vivere CHAIN Hammock Hanging Kit, Grey

Includes two eye bolts with hooks, two piece of CHAIN (with 14 links each), and two S-hooks. Specially designed to safely hang your hammock from trees or wooden posts. Each CHAIN has 14 links, so you can adjust your hammock to your optimal hanging Height. All hardware included in the kit is zinc-coated to withstand the elements of nature. Can hold up to 450Lb capacity.

DO NOT BUY>>>>>broke on hammock causing injury

i never write reviews but I have to on this product. They will not withstand anywhere close to the weight capacity stated. One chain broke and caused the hammock to fall and caused major injury to pelvis when it snapped and dropped hitting bar stand below. this product needs to be changed immediately. it would probably only be safe for a child under 100lbs. do not buy this product believing that you can secure a hammock on a bar stand. the chain snapped into two pieces during first use.

I only have had this for one day but it was sturdy enough to hold a 240 lbs guy with no issues. We used it on a hammock stand we got at Lowe's so it is great. No other items needed for it to work. You also get those two screw pegs if you are going to hang your hammock but want it secured in wood.

short chains best in my review

The specification states 14 chain links but there are only 11AND the chains are fixed with the hooks. Useless set as my hammock still does not reach the end of the stand

Great product best in my review

Anything that will enable my hammock to better serve me is wonderful.That being said, the packaging for this left quite a bit to be desired. Granted they are metal and not prone to being easily damaged, I would have expected them not to be dropped into a dramatically oversized 12"cube cardboard box with no padding and shipped.

You don’t get what’s in the picture no s hooks

I spent like 15 minutes reading all the reviews and I thought to myself "that’s just a fluke” and ordered them anyways. What I got was NOT what’s in the picture. Furthermore these chains are hardly long enough for anything useful. I have a 15’ wide hammock stand and a 10’ hammock and it wasn’t even close to reaching. But like the other reviews say - there were no s hooks. Everything that I got were integrated. I’m just going to go to Home Depot where I can control the outcome of this.Listen to…

Wrong type sent on my review.

Not impressed. They sent the wrong type. Only the type to hang between trees. Not helpful for my hammock stand. Now we need to find a new way to hang or buy more parts.

Probably a good product

Not what I was looking for unfortunately. I purchased for my hammock stand. I've had a lot of trouble finding a hammock and hanging chain that will work with my stand. Still, I do think I will use this hanging kit in the future so I am happy anyway. The chain does seem sturdy although I have not actually gotten to use it yet.

Heavy Duty Chain good for me

The chain was the correct size for my smaller hammock to large stand. The hardware is much larger than what the picture looks like, it definitely is a very well made chain

Very nice hooks. For some reason, these are hard to find in stores unless you are purchasing an entire hammock set including the hammock. These do the job nicely, with generous adjustable chain length.

Hook broke in half for my opinion

I bought this hardware 2 months ago to hang my hammock. Today my sister and I were sitting on the hammock. Between the 2 of us i’d estimate about 300 lbs of weight. It collapsed while we were sitting on the hammock (ouch!) and found the hook had broke in half. The hammock has only lightly been used before that. Disappointed in the quality.

Missing parts, terrible customer service

Vivere does not ship all the parts of the product. The description says the chain comes with "S" hooks. However, Vivere does not ship the product with the "S" hooks. According to several other reviews this seems to a widespread problem with Vivere. There is no mechanism to reach out the company. I searched for Vivere's customer service and emailed them to resolve the situation amicably.A representative - Ms. Akshaya Badhe - was not helpful in resolving and responded that I should take this up…

My 180 pound son has a bruised back, because of this crap product! It bent, he hit the bottom bar of the hammock stand with his back, DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!

Bent hook? on my review.

Not feeling super confident when one of the s-hooks arrived and it was bent straight instead of curved! RETURNED. That's my feedback.

  • Got it part way installed into the tree and it broke. Didnt even get a hammock on it....big bummer
