Review on Glide Gear OH100 Professional Photography by Sheila Vaughn

I was looking for a solid suspension to create top-down instructional videos. I needed something more stable than an arrow stand, but that would take up less space than a bipod connected to a beam solution. The Glide Gear OH100 met my needs and I bought it after some thought as this product goes a little beyond the usual photo and video extortion. However, when it arrived, my initial sticker shock dissipated. First, the packaging of the product was very high quality and all parts arrived with no damage or scratches. Assembly was easy and the instructions are clear and complete. Functionally, it works as advertised and fits my countertop perfectly. It's stable enough to hold my flashlights and DSLR with no issues. I would estimate an additional 4-6 inches of height, but I can easily make an extension if needed as the base already has additional holes that can be used to mount to a 4x4 or other platform. The fit, finish, and stability of everything is excellent, with the exception of the included phone mount, which feels a little cheap and plasticky. . but to be honest the original description didn't say anything about a phone holder or two L-brackets and clips that can be used as a makeshift background mount, so that's all a bonus for me. To be honest I don't think the company's product photos match the OH100 as it looks and feels much better than I expected based on marketing images and product descriptions. Yes, I still find it expensive, but if I had to buy it again I would do it without hesitation.
