20FTX10FT Gold Shimmer Sequin Fabric Photography Backdrop Review

I finally splurged on this backdrop after fighting with wrinkled muslin or cheap 6 x 9 vinyl backdrops framed by curtains. I run a photo booth at various charity events that include everything from state legislators to a middle school dance. Came on time, in good condition and as described, except it is much prettier in person. I am looking forward to using this backdrop for holiday portraits. After I got it, I wished I had ordered a wider size for group portraits, it's that nice. When I have the lighting and the focus just right on my subject, the backdrop appears as a multitude of tiny lights.

Just opened the box and this makes no sense. the loop for the 20 x 10 backdrop is sewn across the 10 foot direction. what are you supposed to do? Lay the other 10 feet across the floor for people to step on? The pole loop should have been sewn across the 20 foot length side. To have it on a pole that’s 10-12 feet long and have it bunched like a curtain like in your main photo.What was going on to have the 10 foot side with the pole loop instead of the 20 foot side?I need it to be on the 20 foot

I had purchased and returned the pink one but the gold one is AMAZING! Definitely the sparkle I was looking for! FYI, the 20x10 is 20 feet wide x 10 feet long. I could not find the answer to this anywhere. the description is very confusing for sizing. Also, this is made of several panels sewn together (5 total. I'm assuming they are 4 feet wide each) but they did a fantastic job putting it together.

the photo looks very different from the actual product. The backdrop I received had a noticeable spot where sequins had either been missed putting on or they fell off, this product sheds a lot of sequins. Not to mention the description said its 7 FT x 7 FT but when I measured it the fell just shy of6.5 FT ?!?! If you order this product be sure to measure it to confirm you are getting what you're paying for.

I see a lot of people had issues with their backdrop, but I had no issues at all! There were two long loose threads, and I simply knotted them, then cut them. No one was able to see it at all. I didn't even have one sequin pop off when I opened it, and I loved the fact that it comes ready to hang as I used a this for my daughters first birthday, and put a curtain rod through the pre-made loop, and used command hooks to hold the rod up. The moment you take these curtains out of the box, your whole attitude change… honey it took me to old Hollywood immediately, after I finished my fantasy I begin to use these curtains at my church for stage design. I used it as a backdrop to take pictures. I’ve used it as a background for our coffee area. Public service announcement you will feel bougie and rich the moment you open the box it eventually goes away but for a moment you will feel like you have arrived.

So lets be clear there are seams that will be noticed in this fabric also it is completely see through so if you dont put something behind it it might not look good. I safety pinned a sheet behind it it and it worked like a charm. ill post pictures at a later time. they fabric also came with a slot for a rod which was perfect. took a lot of great photos in front of this background.

I am a photographer and purchased this for my yearly charity contribution, which is photographing the father daughter dance for our sports booster club. I purchased the 10' H x 20' W drop. It is a good idea to get a much longer one than you expect as you will want it to "fold up" on your backdrop stand. Order two of these to make it a bigger space. But its small enough for about 2-3 people max to fit for a photo booth. That's my review!

Seems like decent quality, but it is pretty thing. About 30% see through, so you'll want a backer in some scenarios. Otherwise, it's excellent!

Used the backdrop for my daughters 21st birthday and it was a hit, her friends loved it. The backdrop is quality, great size and easy to fold up and travel with. Would recommend this product for parties and events.

I loved that it already had a sew space so you could slip it over a bar but I was a little disappointed in the quality due to the random seam going vertical 3/4 of the way across. It just made it look a little tacky. Overall it was a great purchase and made for a perfect back drop

As with anything, you get what you pay for. The biggest issue with this was that it had many seam lines that showed through. And it’s see through. But when we put a white muslin behind it that made all the difference. Overall I was satisfied for what I paid and received.

Looking back I didn’t see I could order a different size.doh! But I made it work for our Hamilton night. It is see through very thin with sequence sewn on. But it was the look I was going for so it was perfect. Only thing order more than the 6ft if you have adults lol.

I got this backdrop for my moms bday party. It looked amazing. It was really expensive but it def looks like it! May require additional post-production editing to remove any imperfections.

It was one of the best investment I ever made. I bought 2 of the 20x10. Keep in mind there is the size 10x20 as well but the length is where the curtain rod inserts go. I bought one to cut as table runners and it saved us a ton of money. I cut them into 60" long and 6" wide as they would be placed on top of regular size navy blue runners. We use these as a back drop for our photo booth. They are very thin, but as long as they are not pulled tight you can not tell. We will eventually add fabric to the back of our so the problem does not continue. Sequins seem to stay on pretty well but do snag easily.

I was pretty pleased with this product. Delivery time was great, and product was packaged well! Was used as backdrop for school auction photo booth which everyone loved!Only thing is that this product was somewhat sheer. Reading the other views beforehand I was already prepared for that. I decided to pick up something to layer it with. Overall I was pleased with my purchase!
