If you're not sure whether to go small or medium, just go small. I'm 5ft 7in, 128lbs, long torso and was surprised at how far my butt protruded past my navel. Not what I expected but still nice. I wore them to the electric woods this year and they were amazing. I'll wear them to the beach and what not. I feel the top strings are useless because there isn't much space between these strings and the bottom strings, I can cut them. Closes in front. I've never worried about giving free shows to a whole bunch of swag
