less functionality than the dual 8-pin version.

Won't create a rainbow wave from one end of the cable to the other, which is the only effect I particularly want to use that I could get with the dual 8-pin version. There is no support from Lian Li either. Would there be a star. Also, there is a lot of price gouging on this (and all electronics) these days. Don't buy it from a seller who is asking a lot more than $60 for it as it is the MSRP. When you pay 200-300% of the RRP, even if it costs you that much, you are perpetuating the BIG problem of price gouging in this industry right now. Please don't do this.
