Works like a champ. Before use, make sure the threads are lubricated with grease or lube if your head is on the crankcase. Used mine on my Chevy 454 with an Edelbrock aluminum head mounted. We looked in the cylinder afterwards and we have no chips. As you can see from the pictures the flutes catch chips well while you fill the tap with grease or anti-seize. Images in two passes with one tap. For me it was a new used set of sockets, something clogged one of the spark plug holes. This tool saved the day.
