I bought these in the first few weeks of my son's life when I realized he was a little Houdini. No matter how tightly and what fabric we wrapped him in (we tried different wrapping folds), he broke out and woke up screaming from his startle reflex. He only got his hands out of that diaper once and I blame myself for wrapping him wrong. Even when he pulled his hands out, he was still pretty smug and happy in that diaper. SwaddleMe diapers saved us! Best Features: 1) Baby WILL NOT come out 1) Baby wraps in it easily 2) STRONG velcro 3) Still allows baby to move legs 4) Velcro can be folded for washing so your clothes don't stick to it remains! (See note below on this.) Other features I haven't used: 1) Hole on the back so you can use the buckles in swings, tote bags, etc. 2) People say you can change your baby's diaper without spreading your arms. Haven't tried this, seems easier to just unroll and rewrap. Laundry Note: Fold excess fabric over the Velcro tabs before throwing in the wash (see pictures - note the top of the footpouch and the tabs on the right). This velcro is so strong that it stuck to my clothes and actually damaged my less durable items (nursing shirts, underwear, etc.). When I first received them I couldn't figure out why they had extra material around the velcros and was upset that I had to separate those pieces before swaddling my baby. Then I washed them and realized that that was probably the purpose of that extra fabric. Even if it's not an explicit goal, DO IT!
