I used this to remove excess grout from the glass mosaic tile I laid over my bathtub and other parts of one of my bathrooms. It saved me a lot of trouble and didn't scratch the glass tiles, which is why I took the risk of buying it. Then I also polished the tub and it worked very well. I then use it to polish a porcelain stoneware floor tile that I laid in the same bathroom. It's nice when everything works the way it's presented. I didn't rate the strength and durability as seals have to wear out with use so the criteria don't make much sense to me. They weren't an inappropriate size. I've been polishing a whole large tile in the bathroom and buffing the tub with a sponge and it doesn't even come close. Hope that helps.
