I have pneumonia and my doctor recommended that I buy a humidifier. In the end I decided to do it and I'm very happy with it. He works all night without missing a beat. I find that the minimal noise it makes really helps me sleep. The night light is thin and not too bright. It works great in my large bedroom with the door closed and keeps enough moisture in the air so my sound isn't dry when I wake up. Worth the price!
