Works great, great update

Just installed 16GB modules (2 x 8GB) and they are doing a great job. I'm running the latest version of MacOS my computer supports (High Sierra/Pre-Metal) so 16GB of RAM is recognized and used, compared to the 8GB limit allowed by the older OS. Plug and play with no problems, just a much faster computer. Needs updating if you want to keep using your (very) old Mac, especially if you use multiple displays. EDIT: They also work on 2011 MacBook Pros. They have a lower clock speed than the OEM RAM for these models, but the increased RAM significantly offsets any clock speed limitations. You should try to get the RAM at the correct (faster) clock speed if you have one of these models, but if you end up with it or switch to a different computer, they will work fine. Although they worked great, my computer's processor and video chipset were too old to meet my work needs, so I used them for three months and then bought a new computer. I replaced them with my wife's late 2011 MacBook Pro and they worked great.

Pros
  • Compatible with Apple Mac Book - 13" Mid 2010 - Mac Book 7.1 (2.4GHz)
