It took 6.5 months for the sole to come off. My last pair lasted almost 3 years and heaps of abuse. I have been wearing them to work 3 to 5 days a week from the day they arrived. I don't know, I guess I'm the kind of old guy who expects things to last a little longer and I'm not sure I'd buy them again, although they're perfect for the office and acceptable if with family.
