Review on BedRug Classic Bedliner BRC07LBK Charcoal Fits 2007 - 2018 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 8.2" Bed (Install Kit BRZSPRAYON Is Required If Installing Over Spray-In Liner) by Matt Travers

Considering all available Bed liner options I found this to be the best for my truck

My truck was a ex rental truck with a beat up bed from damage that happened from a drop in bed liner with large dents that happened right through the hard plastic liner. After spot fixing any rust from the previous liner rubbing through the paint and cleaning the bed it was easy to install my new bed rug. That hardest part was zipping the floor to the sides. I have a Bed cover that leaks water into the bed when it rains hard, this water does dry fast but if the floor is wet while you need the truck bed to be dry the bedrug does hold the moisture longer than if you had a plastic drop in liner or no liner at all. until I fix the leak I keep a carpet with rubber backing to roll out when I do not want the cargo to get wet. You have to be careful when sliding large cargo in the back that had squared edges as it can and will catch on the tail gate to bed gap, this gap will also get filled with debris make sure to keep this area clear of sharp objects as it will obviously wreck the bedrug. I find the tailgate is harder to open and close to minimize this and put less pressure on the handle I push in on the tailgate when opening or closing. For the most part anything I put in the bed stays put yet when stopping fast some items will slide forward. Overall this has been a good purchase I do not regret and I would buy it again. I have a cargo tie downs I put off installing because I did not want to cut into my new Bedrug now the newness has wore off I will be installing all nine town down anchors which should help with cargo sliding since it will be easier to tie down my cargo

Pros
  • Nice product , fit perfectly and I get a lot of complements
Cons
  • The material may not withstand exposure to extreme weather conditions, potentially causing the liner to deteriorate over time
