Review on Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 10.5" 2018 Protective Silicone Case - Poetic TurtleSkin Series [Corner/Bumper Protection][Grip][Bottom Air Vents] by Luis Baker

It's a really good case. Not perfect but pretty, pretay, pretay good.As expected it is a perfect fit around the tablet, no rattling around whatsoever. Although there is no built-in screen protection, the tablet feels very well protected. The corners are well protected, too. It's not an OtterBox case but it'll do just fine, especially for the price ($14.95 when I bought it) and actually, OtterBox doesn't make a case for this yet.The material is a soft silicone and I DO mean soft. It almost feels like suede. VERY comfortable to hold.As you can see in the photos all of the cutouts for the charging port, camera, etc. are perfectly machined.I gotta say, I don't think the speaker channel cutouts are a gimmick. I ABSOLUTELY notice a sound quality increase (if not just cuz it's louder I spose) with the case on, and MAN this tablet sounds great. Even at full volume, I'm not getting any crackling at all.The internal heat dissipation channels must be working well because even after 2 hours of games and Youtube the case isn't hot at all.The S pen holder is great. The pen fits snuggly and WILL NOT come out unless you take it out and when you do take it out it comes out pretty easily, just the right amount of resistance. I added a photo of how I like to hold it in portrait mode (I think that's what it's called? Where the tablet is vertical). The pen holder is actually a nice, little comfy hand grip, kinda sorta.Couple little things that bug, but not enough to take a star away.1) The volume rocker and the power button are nice and clicky and that's all good but they just don't quite protrude enough for me (see the photo). You kinda have to hunt for them for a second and then gotta feel em a little more to find the button you're trying to hit. I'll get used to it but I've seen better.2) It is really nice to the touch but with that comes a slight slipperiness to it. It doesn't stick to your hand at all like a natural rubber. Not a big deal but just know that goin' in.3) The silicone tapers off where the lip meets the screen and that actually feels comfortable to the fingers where they're not, like, slamming up against a silicone wall and interfering with the touch screen but it also feels thin right there and can easily be pulled back leaving the screen exposed (see photo).If some kind of a weird fall happens where the tablet hits a few things on the way down it seems like the edge of the screen may be momentarily exposed. Does that make sense?The chances of that happening are pretty slim and so I can't take a star off for that either.4) One last thing. When I bought this, the description stated that the case comes with a portable stand. There was NO stand of any kind included in the package and now that statement has been removed from the description. That really frustrates me and it makes me want to give this case a 3-star rating but I don't feel that's fair. (Small rant coming) I find it INSANELY unfair when people give a good product a 1-star rating simply because the SHIPPING WAS LATE a couple of days or product undeliverable or any number of inane reasons. Come on! That's got nothing to do with the functionality of the product! Therefore, I will not take a star away from this product because of that, but they should've included the stand!I actually already have a really good stand (see photo). The stand you guys see in the photo DOES NOT come with this tablet. I'll leave a link for it. That's super cool of them and shows they care about the customer.The discounts they gave me have absolutely nothing to do with my 5-star rating of this tablet case.If I never heard back from them I'd still have given it 5 stars.Hope this was helpful!
