Original What I like is that it feels solid and healthy. Lies comfortably in the hand. It cleans well, there is no porous surface for soap to collect on. Looks great. I liked the option to buy a brush that doesn't require killing the animal, assuming that's the only use for it. What I don't like is that the bristles are sooooo soft. In my opinion too soft. I don't feel like I can apply lather like my badger hair brush. Disclaimer - This is only my third brush, the first synthetic I've tried. I don't know if all plastics are like this or just for this brush. Fwiw.Edit After someone recommended shaking out excess water, more so than a badger brush, and a video showing the movements are less vigorous than a badger brush, I seem to have improved my experience and am happy to use it on a daily basis. .
