Does not work with Apple HD Cinema Display

This product deserves 5 stars for some USB-C to DVI applications. Note, however, that it won't work if you try to use it between a newer MacBook Pro (my 16-inch late 2019) with USB-C outputs and older Apple Cinema HD displays (my 23-inch). External Apple HD Cinema Display flashes for 2 seconds and turns off for 4 seconds, just like another branded converter. Unfortunately I have to return it as I have done with another brand.
