that I installed on my 18 Wrangler JL with 8.4" uConnect system. First I tuned in to a station 70 miles away using a standard antenna. The station arrived with a small amount of static electricity. Then I installed this 17" rubber antenna and tested the same station. It had about the same amount of static electricity as the stock antenna. So it works just as well as the original antenna on remote stations. The local stations are perfect. Got the car Washed several times in an automatic car wash, there were no problems.The spring steel core makes it stiff enough that it doesn't dangle when moved like many rubber antennas over 12" in diameter do.
