Good antenna in terms of style and performance. I also found it to be a perfect fit. However, a ride in a "touchless" car wash bent and broke at the base. I've seen it happen – it's not a hard hit, it's not a cause, it's not an extreme curve or anything. The factory antenna could bend, and the washing machine would easily fly away. If he can't handle it, it was only a matter of time before he hit a trail that would hit a tree. Goodbye.

Didn't expect much from a shorter antenna. However, I was very surprised to see that my reception was actually better than the standard Jeep antenna. Not only was I able to tune into the same stations from my closed garage, but most of them are much cleaner after installing this antenna. I highly recommend threading the threads a bit as it has an adapter that can be easily unscrewed as it is a regular thread. Otherwise the quality is much better than expected.

I don't normally listen to AM/FM radio so short antenna reception doesn't bother me. The stock antenna on my Jeep Gladiator is bare metal and rotates on the track.
