I was a bit reluctant to buy such a cheap system but had to meet an inexpensive need from one of my customers. I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of the system. The camera has a field of view of 135 degrees and is very suitable for aligning a trailer. The camera mount simply uses mounting screws that secure your license plate. The camera has LEDs for low-light visibility, which are great for belaying at night and giving a visual indication of what you're doing. The camera is made entirely of plastic so won't rust, but remember that rough use can damage the mount. On some systems you can turn the park lines on or off, but in this case the park lines are not fixed and will not turn on. Using parking lines will add some depth to your rear distance to objects. The monitor has a base that can be attached to the windshield or to the top of the dashboard. The top fastening of the dashboard requires a smooth surface, otherwise it will fall off. In my case I used a windshield mount. I had the setup on a 2014 Ford 150 with an extended cab with a 6 foot bed. The included 20 foot cable was too short for me, but the seller offers a longer cable at no extra charge. I opted for a 33 foot cable and had plenty of room to spare. This camera system has been linked to the reversing lights to activate the system when reversing. If necessary, it can be permanently connected. For the money it can't be better. Others I've reviewed would easily cost $100+. The seller is a pleasure to work with, he wants the customer to be satisfied and makes every effort to prove it.
