A curtain was damaged, the fringes were not sewn on. Before the day, check the decorations when you buy them!

One of the curtains was fine, the other was damaged and most of the top fringes were torn off. It was too late to return (we didn't realize it until we took them out to decorate). We had to add a few extra buttons to make it work. If it hadn't been damaged, everything would be fine. Most people don't unwrap an item for a few days before using it for decoration. So how do you know?
