I have ordered some orange lightbulbs to put in my flea traps so there is no blue light from flea traps at night. The color was good. I just received it and installed one recently and it looked beautiful. I put it down and started doing something on the computer and after a few minutes I noticed a strange smell. I looked around and then thought of a new lightbulb. I sniffed around him and the smell was definitely coming from him. Concerned about the possibility of a fire, I unscrewed the bulb and it was REALLY HOT! Since it is a 7 watt bulb, I would not have expected that. The one I took out to put these in wasn't that hot when I took them out. I do NOT trust these lamps and throw them away! NOTHING is worth the possibility of a fire!
