trunk lock has a good fit and finish, it fitted my 2005 Ram with no issues. The locking mechanism itself feels a bit more fragile than the original, but the camera has decent resolution and clarity and, most importantly for me, allows me to see my hitch (4 inches) when returning to a trailer. Part of the video harness was barely long enough to reach my main unit on the long four-cabin platform. The extension would have allowed for a cleaner installation by passing through the clutch master cylinder block with a plate in the firewall. I decided to walk up along the driver's track frame through the rubber plug of the hole with some existing wiring/air lines under the rear driver's seat and then under the carpet on the driver's side to get to the radio.
