Incomprehensible instructions

Although I had no trouble charging this device, the written instructions seemed vague and nondescript to me. If there weren't the default settings for the specs I want, I'd have trouble with the instructions. Overall, it runs on a 12V lead-acid battery and keeps it charged. I can't confirm if it charges the battery. The setting seems correct.
