I don't know why other people had problems with this boot and I didn't. You will need to trim the dust boot to the next smaller diameter than the rack housing. Then, to make the trunk easier to put on the rack, roll the trunk towards you, press it against the rack, and then slide the folded part onto the rack. Make sure the vent is facing down to allow moisture to drain. When adding grease, be careful not to get it on the platter.
