I used it on my face to remove makeup. They irritated the skin on my face and I don't have sensitive skin. It wasn't anything serious, but it was annoying enough that I felt some discomfort for several hours, even after washing my face. I would not recommend it for a child's face as they cannot speak or say what they are feeling. These are full size thick wipes. Ideal for efficiently cleaning feces. They measure approximately 8 x 7 inches. The container is soft but has a hard plastic snap-on lid to keep them moist. The container is not bulky. Easy to carry in your diaper bag. I decided to use them to clean my dog who doesn't like the bath. They clean it well.
