Love this razor. It holds my brush and razor well. The stand itself is very sturdy and not without its charms, but as some have noted, the matte finish means the base has water stains, so it can look a bit rustic. I would also say that so far none of my brushes fit the way I had imagined. They fit but not at the handle but where the handle meets the bristles so it fits again but not in the way I expected. I think that over time I'll have to find a way to keep the base looking good as water stains are something that will just happen. To be honest I think it's a nice stand, I think it's a good alternative to the shiny chrome options but I think the price is a bit high for what it is. However, yes, I recommend it; and yes I would buy it again.
