These seem to be similar in fit and comfort to a pair of oxford cloth boxers I had from BB’s many years ago. In simple terms, they are big, and comfy. At first, I thought a gusseted crotch, but a gusset technically is a triangle and these don’t have that but the effect is very similar. There is a seam that looks a bit like an upside down U that runs across the bottom of the fly and connecting each leg, but generally this is above your junk. No seam down the middle of the back either. The no gap fly, which works incredibly well by the way, is achieved by a wide fly (eg a bit of extra fabric to prevent the gap from opening). Personally, I’d give them 6 stars if I could.A note on sizing, I wouldn’t necessarily suggest sizing down, but these run on the generous side. If you are on the cusp (between sizes) I would suggest ordering the smaller of the two options. Note they are long too. They’d be fine with an above the knee madras shorts but you aren’t going to wear these with anything with a short inseam short.
