Almost perfect except for a few minor annoyances

Easy to install, very thin. I actually had to use a spacer because it was too close to the wall on my new 65 inch LG, which is also very thin. Even so, my TV screen is only 2 inches from the wall, which looks a lot better than my old Samsung which sticks out 9 inches from the wall. Here are a few things stopping me from giving it 5 stars: 1. Traction straps and springs look a bit cheap. I'm afraid the idiot might break the spring. You really have to pull them at an angle for them to work, ie pull the left strap at an angle of 2 to the right. There is no way to adjust the orientation. I thought I was perfect but after hanging the TV it didn't look right. . I had to take the TV down, drill new holes and hang it back up. Being slightly out of level meant a 3/4" drop down the length of my 65" TV! It would be great if there was a way to do this normally. 3. I don't know, maybe it's just because I have an old house, but the holes on the bracket didn't line up with the 2x4 studs, so I had to drill a hole in the metal between the holes. I won't risk anything if the $2500 TV isn't mounted on a stud.

Pros
  • Pull down to turn off
Cons
  • Too long to wait
