My scalp tends to get oiler quicker than most because of active lifestyle and this is a great shampoo for getting a good deep clean. Doesn’t strip my hair and make it dry even if it’s hot out and I use it a few days in a row. Love Giovanni hair line!

I get product build-up in my hair pretty easily and this shampoo always works at getting it out in one wash. Affordable too compared to other clarifying shampoos.

Smells minty and feels invigorating on the scalp, but didn’t do much for dandruff and really dries out my hair. I usually only use conditioner to clean and a clarifying shampoo once a month. I used to use this shampoo back in 2010 and I've been looking for it for so long. As soon as I saw it I purchased, leaves my hair feeling so clean. Doesn't add a lot of suds which I like because I have really tiny locs. So I don't need any left over soap staying around. DEFINITELY buying again. The tea tree smell is so soothing but it can burn your eyes if you are not used to it.

The Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture Shampoo is, indeed, quite moisturizing. And the smell is great -- just slightly citrusy. However, once I unscrewed the pump top so it popped up, the 24 oz. bottle became too tall to fit into the indented area of my shower that holds shower products. That is one tall bottle. Wish it was just an inch shorter.

Love this stuff! Makes my scalp feel amazing and works wonderfully with my favorite conditioner (f.a.e by thrive market) I have very long thick hair. Super plus it's made of good ingredients.

The shampoo I ordered smells like the right shampoo but the consistency is weird. It stays like a solid gel and does not spread or lather at all. I cannot get it in my hair. I even tried diluting it with water but it does not help much. When I buy it from the store in smaller bottles it seems different. Is everyone's consistency like this?
