This replacement part fits the bill and looks well made but only time will tell. I rebuilt my classic custom steel bike from a classic gooseneck stem to a new style two-piece system. I recently had achilles tendon surgery and due to the natural slowdown of age, my local shop refitted me and gave me some new numbers to set up my bike for a more comfortable ride. I hope this product will add a few more years to my cycling health. I need to do a few test rides and check the general durability of the product but out of the box and now on the bike everything seems in good condition at a reasonable price.
