Heel collar or heel height is very low. My feet slip and slide out of my shoes when walking. Lots of abrasions and blisters on the back of the heel. I don't know why NB reduced the height? Older shoes had a higher collar. Wearing NB is no longer possible due to the poor design of most of their shoes. They have gone from being the best boots to being the worst. The shock is a cheap 1/8" piece of foam. I always bought inserts. What I really liked about the NB was the wide dimensions. I've always trusted 2E. fits perfectly. Now there really is no difference between regular width and 4E My toes are numb and blistered Sad to see the NB quality has dropped so much in recent years Other brands.
