The device is electrically awesome. It works well, and the interface is fairly easy to figure out if you have ever set up a wireless network. My only issue was the connection port. Plugging in the ethernet cable proved to be problematic. I bought a brand new CAT6e cable for the extra thick conductors, but the plug causes trouble when you try to plug it in. I bought a 90 degree adapter because the tight bend was a strain on the cable. It’s a simple fix, too. Simply change the bottom to be tapered instead of a sharp 90 degree bend. This allows the plug to slide in and eases strain on the cord. Alternatively, make the opening about 0.25” larger.Update: I see engenius has a different router on revain with the plug-in slot running the same direction as the port and with the classic wire-trap hooks you saw on telephones and other wall mounted devices to allow you to run a cable up the wall. That is a much better plan. I still haven’t wall mounted this device, partly because I have not finished remodeling the room where it will be installed and partly because I still have to hack up the plastic case to do so due to that poor ethernet Jack placement. The 90 degree adapter I bought has the same problem the off the shelf cable has, which my homemade cables will also have - the cut out is EXACTLY the size of the plug and you cannot plug a cable in properly without linking the wires.
