Review on ZYLISS Potato Masher Stainless Steel by Marie Burris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Yes, the side is red, not black.

Like some others I wanted it to have a black accent, not red, but after using it I have no regrets and I want it in my kitchen in any color! The vertical grip got me thinking because I thought the horizontal grip would give me more leverage, and I was glad that the easy-to-grip, slightly angled grip was sturdier and required less effort - I found it a lot easier to use than think. wavy puree in the form of a wire. It was much more efficient as it required far less food and didn't require chasing food around the pile before the job was done. The red part gently scrapes the sides of the pot/bowl and the entire tool washes up easily without trapping food in the crevices that will quickly rust. This lady is built to last, holding its shape and rewarding faster and easier mashing and easy cleanup. No moving parts or hinges - just solid, sleek yet well thought out features that make me very glad I chose this one. cooked carrots, celery, onions and some beans to thicken the soup, I used mashed potatoes instead and got a lovely soup with beans, bacon and pretty carrots sprinkled throughout. After about 45 seconds I had better texture and a clean tool with no machine cleaning. Next potato!
