We purchased this item to replace a faulty F********r unit. This unit didn't last as long as expected and just wasn't collecting vacuum after 1 season of moderate use. This product arrived in beautiful packaging as promised. After opening the device looked good. First assignment: My wife packed corn on the cob. , next to 72 ears, in packs of 3-4 pcs. All are sealed and look like they hold the seal. The woman said that the device works very well and is very happy with it. It's worth the price in itself. At the moment I would recommend this product for moderate use (seasonal use and infrequent use). I suspect it will hold up much better than the previous brand which has clearly sacrificed quality for price in recent years. .ONE MORE NOTE. Last time we used pre-cut bags. Will try the buns soon. Will upgrade or downgrade this rating after further use.
