The thing is about to become useless. Does it seal? More or less after the second or third try, even after trying desperately to make sure the bag has a clean edge and no moisture or dirt on it. Does it vacuum? no It doesn't even seem like it is. I literally made it better with a straw and a zip bag. If you're looking for a cheaper vacuum sealer, look for a ziplock bag and straw. You will get better results. Don't repeat my mistake. Spend a little more money or consider buying reusable straws.

Tried it for the first time today. I bought gallon sized sealing bags and was about to seal chicken quarters. The heating element did not get hot. Sometimes he would pump out air and sometimes not. This Koios vacuum sealer stopped working when I first tried it. I made a total of 17 prints. 10 seals were "vacuum + seal" for packaging dry products.
