Review on 📻 BAOFENG Tri-Power Two-Way Radio Transceiver: 2 Pack 8W Radios with Bonus Extras, Black by Virgilio Patton

This radio has everything the UV5R has but with more power! I love it! The only disappointment was that the radio was locked to each of the two bands with a very limited frequency range and at first I thought it was a misleading spec sheet on the Amazon site but after looking at some reviews I found a note from the manufacturer Above that, the frequency limit is activated by default. However, it didn't take long to fix it. To unlock, just search "Baofeng UV-5RTP 8 Watt Review and Programming" on YouTube and follow the fairly simple steps in the second half of the video. After installing the software and unlocking my first radio in about 30 minutes, it only took me 2 minutes to connect and unlock my second radio. The commonly used CHIRP software does not support this Baofeng model yet, so you need to download the software from Baofeng website and use it as shown in the video.
