I bought two of these for my daughter, a pink cat and a blue puppy. BOTH fell apart within 12 hours of unpacking and my daughter didn't even handle them roughly. The stitches on the pink cat's face came undone when she hugged him, and the stitches on the blue dog's paws came undone after 2 hours. In comparison, my daughter has a stuffed animal that we bought at the grocery store for $5 for two years. At $30 for the blue cat and $50 for the pink cat (I have upgrades), these things are terrible value. Also note that they burn out batteries quickly.
