We bought these because we bought a freezer and wanted to save food in the freezer from leftovers. It's great for this, but the containers are very flimsy and I don't know how strong they'll get over time. What is particularly nice is that the lids are shaped in such a way that the containers can be stacked very well and do not slip. UPDATE: We've been using them consistently for four months. They have held up much better than I expected! We wash them in the dishwasher, top shelf, DO NOT DRY (they would melt). Then I take them out with water drops and put them in the sink to dry. Alternatively, you can mark them with a marker and then wipe them off with a paper towel or similar. Rub hard! Overall they work great for us.
