I was really looking forward to the dress and when I received it, it looked just like the photo. It's a bit on the thick side in terms of material, being pretty much full polyester and I expected it as much from reading some of the reviews. However, I was not as prepared for the dress to have such an elevated waist, making it appear to have a short torso! I'm short - 5'2 and i think I have a short waist, but this dress looked a bit odd.Pros:It's made out of thick material, so not see-through and one could wear it to work. I bought the black with the white roses and the shirt looked nice and was flattering. I also liked the sleeves, looked feminine; one could wear the dress to work or make it casual by wearing flats or sneaks.Cons:Elevated waist, making the wearer look like they have a super high waist and short torso. While the shirt was very flattering, the top was tight. I'm curvy and bought a large and typical wear a size 10/12. I selected L because of some of the reviews, but the top was too tight - especially around the breasts and back. It felt uncorfortable. I also know that if I ordered an XL, it would be too big, especially around the arms (sleeves felt just right) and skirt. The bow also looked a bit odd but maybe it's because I don't typically wear bows and wanted to try - so this might just be a "me" issue!
