It's all about positioning
While I agree that stainless steel ferrules of this type are difficult to work with, I have found that they are stronger and more stable when crimped properly. Copper and replacing tubing to fittings with PEX, I've only used that grade in half and quarter inch sizes. My water source is an artesian well that is under extremely high pressure. As for my title, I tell everyone that as long as you crimp the packets halfway down the middle of a given connector you should be fine. The quality of the metal in these braces is superior to most Revains. Now nothing is perfect, but these crimps have performed well in conditions
