Plastic but high quality
Many negative reviews complain about plastic instead of metal. Uhhh! Most sockets are made of plastic. I don't think I've ever seen metal before. Probably because metal is a conductor and you can get an electric shock if you try to connect something. The plastic definitely doesn't look cheap in my opinion and far exceeded my expectations.
