Review on Franklin Sports 8.5-inch Rubber Tetherball by Gary Lucas

Very disappointed with this product. It looked well built when it arrived, but I didn't care what type of rope it used. It's quite stiff, and while it's the same length as the replacement rope, the stiffness of the rope means it rotates at about half the speed around the bar compared to the original. Not a big deal, but the games are much shorter. So, after 8 months, the ball burned out in the sun and broke everywhere. he also lost almost all of his air. The rubber it's made of is clearly not UV resistant, which is surprising considering they're usually attached to a pole and left outside.
