This press is beautiful and easy to use…it seems like good quality until you get fracture lines in the glass or accidentally bump the glass rim. After about 3 months I noticed and could hear the glass cracking while being cleaned. I do wait a decent amount of time for my tea leaves to cool off before cleaning so it wasn’t a problem with having very hot liquids then rinsing with cold water. The glass just isn’t very strong. I didn’t put a review up the first time this press broke because the company was very nice to send me a replacement quickly but within 2months of using the replacement, I just ‘bumped’ the top rim with my coffee cup and it shattered. I wish the glass was more durable, otherwise it would be a great product!
