I bought this chair for my wife who was starting to hate her other chair because it had such a bad back. So we decided to order this one. Right out of the box I had a problem building the base. Two poles slid together, but the two holes in each pole didn't line up. I could only get one screw on each leg. I guess we could contact the company but my wife doesn't weigh that much so I think she would be fine. For a heavier person, having two screws in each leg is probably a good idea. This is a manufacturing defect. My wife loves that she can raise or lower the armrests and she said the backrest is much better than any other chair. When she sits in a chair for a while, the mesh material covering the seat feels a little scratchy, leaving a beecomb-like pattern on the backs of her legs. She now uses a decorative seat cushion that she placed on top, which she says makes the chair even more comfortable. The chair can be adjusted up and down and moves freely. My wife loves the feel and design of the chair legs. She sometimes uses them as a footstool and says putting her feet on them relieves strain on her back. They feel comfortable and are smooth underfoot. This is a great back support chair.
