The trays were deformed and bent, making it impossible to get an even layer of fruit puree that would dry evenly. I saw a review on them but they were the only ones that fit in my dryer so I took a chance. I took someone's suggestion and put them in a 190 degree oven with weights in the center and sides for a few hours. He smoothed them out quite a bit - not for the better, but enough. I'll try to smooth them out a little more. Spreading an even layer of sauce on a flat tray is difficult enough. I used them once with mediocre results. Let's see if they keep their shape. Poor quality of materials and manufacturing process! In any case, I recommend wiping down with a very light coat of cooking spray to prevent sticking.
