I honestly haven't used them for anything else but they rub off very easily and I'm sure I could find more use if I could stop making fruit rolls long enough to try lol.

I love these trays! I've been obsessed with making fruit bowls for a while, these bowls make it so easy! YOU MUST USE SOME ANTISTIC SOLUTION ON THEM BEFORE APPLYING ANY! I made the mistake of not doing this and it stuck to the bottom of the tray, although it only took a few minutes in warm water for the fruit to immediately release.

I was very happy to find these sheets to go with my old Magic Chef dehydrator. I tried some friend's dehydrators that didn't work; they were too big. I made plum skins and they turned out wonderful with these sheets. They have a rim to keep your liquid from dripping when you pour the pulp onto the leaves. I bought two sets, so four sheets total, and they all worked well in my dehydrator at the same time. Definitely a great investment. Now I can make healthy treats for my grandkids.

Fruit rolls are very easy to prepare. Simply spray them with cooking spray, pour 1.5 cups of applesauce (or other fruit puree) into each tray and spread as evenly as possible. then dry in the car. It takes me about six hours to fully dry four trays of applesauce. YMMV. I had no problem with fruit rolls coming off the trays. I take them off the trays, put them on wax paper and roll them up. I use regular unsweetened applesauce, and you wouldn't even know it has no added sugar. Very affordable…

It's so much fun and easy! They sit right on top of the dehydrator baskets and you can make a fruit bowl! I used 1.5 cups of ready-made organic applesauce and mixed it with half a peach (steamed to soften it) and 3 strawberries, then added to my well-oiled ring. I dehydrated it for about 6-7 hours until it was sticky but didn't dent to the touch. The trays were deformed and bent, making it impossible to get an even layer of fruit puree that would dry evenly. I saw a review on them but they were the only ones that fit in my dryer so I took a chance. I took someone's suggestion and put them in a 190 degree oven with weights in the center and sides for a few hours. He smoothed them out quite a bit - not for the better, but enough. First, these aren't screens, they're solid plastic sheeting. They have no holes. For example, if I dry tomatoes for tomato powder, peppers for paprika powder, onion or garlic powder, cheese powder or other spices, I use these.
