Review on Dorman 42742 Wiper Arm by Cool Martin

for my broken driver's side wiper arm. The specs said it would fit my 1978 Pontiac Safari Wagon. DO NOT BUY THIS. This will not fit your car if it is a 1978 Pontiac Safari. It has a factory pressed crease which does not touch the windshield at all when installed making it totally unusable. I ended up putting it in a vise, using a super hot torch to get it red hot on my hand, and then bending it to shape it and try to match it to the windshield. I then also had to heat and bend the end of the wiper blade so it went right over the windshield. That lasted until I found a complete replacement car assembly at a junkyard. I'm using it as a spare and it's in stock right now. But if you drive more than 50 km/h, the blade goes over the windshield and is useless. Carefully!
