Please note that the bit I received from Revain matches the artwork provided by Revain, NOT the Nichimokko photo. This drill bit has an open area of approximately 1/4 inch between the carbide tip and the bearing. This may work for your situation, but requires the thicker jig I had, so doesn't work for me (i.e. the cutting edge is too far from the jig). You need this clearance for some reason. Instead, I use a shorter (1/2" cutting length) standard top bearing cutter (Freud 50-103 5/8" diameter with flush top bearing and 1/4" shank). Tool 45487 flush cut template and carbide tipped 2-tooth Ball bearing grooving cutters, 1/4" shank would also be an excellent choice.)
